KB Snatches Revisited

Tuesday I took a first shot at training to get 100 snatches in five minutes with a 53#KB.  Click here to see what I’m talking about.  It involved 120 snatches in 10 minutes.  Today I did 112 snatches in 8 minutes.  Here was the workout:

Seven rounds, one round per minute:

8 KB snatches – Left

8 KB snatches – Right

I definitely felt a difference from Tuesday’s workout. It was getting harder to maintain good form about round six.  Overall though, I was encouraged.  I think in order to reap the various benefits of KB snatches, though, I need to be doing a lot more of them, or even workouts like today about 3 times per week by itself.
