Yesterday’s workout was a challenge because I was running low on energy. I hadn’t eaten a whole lot and was trying to do a strength workout. It’s not the best combination, from my experience. Regardless, it was good, and I was glad to finish it.
135# Clean – 7 reps
Kettlebell Snatch – 7 reps left
Kettlebell Snatch – 7 reps right
Pull-up – 7 reps
Each round, including its rest, took about three minutes. If you want a simple way to radically alter a workout, just adjust the rest. Rest less for a quicker fatigue or for greater cardiovascular conditioning benefit. Rest more for greater freshness or for explosive strength. It’s always nice to have options.
