Cancer Causers

On the 11/22/11 Dr. Oz show, it was stated that smoking causes 30% of cancers of all cancer cases in America, no surprise.  Next to that, being overweight also causes 30% of all cancers.  Fat is fuel for cancer growth.  Crazy scary.

What can you do?  Exercise, have a low salt diet, and get potassium.  It sounds so simple.

Some people really like to exercise alone.  They get time to think, pray, focus, & be away from people.  Not me.  I know this doesn’t work for everyone, but I am so much more likely to get out there, do more, & work harder when I have an exercise partner.  Plus, I enjoy some good fellowship.

Don’t know where to start?  Take a walk.  Yup!  Get up, get out and enjoy some fresh air.  It doesn’t have to be much, but it should be regular.  Short and frequent is better than long and infrequent, because frequency will help it to become a habit.

Just another reason to be active: it’s a great weapon in the fight against cancer.
