Finally something different. Sort of. This evening I did end up doing some clean and presses…but with a barbell, not a kettlebell. I also did some kettlebell swings along with some ring dips. I was short on time, but was glad to do what I did.
Workout:
Three rounds:
155# Clean and Press – 3 reps 70# Kettlebell Swings – 10 reps Ring dips – 12 reps
Good variety within the workout, and I tried to be explosive on the swings. I wanted to do four rounds, but ran out of time. That’s okay; I’m not a slave to my workouts.
Sometime, Lord willing, I’ll put some more demo videos up for your reference where I demonstrate some barbell and bodyweight movements. That’s my intention.
Of course, you can scale the weight or reps, and you can do bar dips if that’s what you have…or even put a couple of kitchen chairs together and dip between those. There’s no limit to the modifications, but whatever you do, go for it and have fun. Don’t let yourself off the hook because you don’t have a certain piece of equipment.
