On Saturday, I taught Sonja how to do Turkish Get-ups. She learned quickly why it is so popular. It seems to use every muscle in your body and it is vey challenging.
Workout:
Ten minutes of Turkish Get-ups, alternating left and right after each rep.
I used a 53# kettlebell and Sonja used a 10# kettlebell and I just shouted out each position as we went. We did each rep together, which was helpful for her while getting the hang of the movement. Good workout, but fairly easy, and I hope to feel fantastic tomorrow, which is pretty common for TGU’s.
