Triple Banana Bash Smoothie

Triple Banana Bash

We were about to go on a trip before I made this, and I had three bananas to use or I’d lose.  I know I could have frozen them, but I didn’t want to.  Instead I wanted to see what fruity treat I could come up with before leaving.

The Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup ice
  • 3 bananas
  • 1 cup pineapple
  • 1 apple
  • small handful of spinach
  • 2 sprigs of parsley
  • 1/3 cucumber
  • 1 T flaxseed oil, optional

The Directions:

  • Blend all ingredients until smooth.
  • Serve immediately.

The Conclusion:

The bananas make this smoothie creamy and sweet.  This was a great healthy beverage before going on our trip, not knowing what nutrients we could eat.
