I just got the Costco Grocery Price List updated. There are now over 180 food products on my list. Last time I updated prices, I thought I had to update a lot of prices, but this time, it was beyond the beyond…whatever that means. With inflation, prices have kept steadily increasing. There were hardly any prices that decreased.
Maybe it will be easier to write a list of all of the grocery prices that have been lowered. Literally there were just 8 grocery products that have lessened in the last six monts. And it was all a decrease by $0.10 or $0.20 except for vanilla, which was $3. So yay for a few price reductions. Here’s that grand, yet short list.
- Kirkland Signature Nacho Chips
- Hemp Hearts
- Pecans
- Walnuts
- Vanilla
- Lemons
- Spinach
- Pepper Jack Cheese
The biggest price increase was in yellow onions (+$5.00). And last time I recorded prices, those onions were organic, and now they aren’t. Other dramatic increases are:
- Annie Mac and Cheese 2 count =$17.49 (+$3.50)
- KS Butter = $12.49 (+$3.80)
- 3 lbs. Limes = $6.99 (+$3.00)
- KS Sharp Cheese $16.79 (+$4.00)
- 10 lbs. Yellow Onions = $11.99 (+$5.00)
