Trail mix is such a good energy boosting, pick-me-up snack for when you get a case of the munchies. It’s so easy to put together, and you can mix and match your favorite dried, fruits, nuts, and chocolate chips. I used to buy trail mix all of the time, but it’s really so much cheaper to make and quick that there is NO reason to buy it.
With young kids, I love that trail mix is not a crumby snack. Sure those chocolate chips can melt in their hands, but honestly, the trail mix doesn’t stay long enough in their hands to melt it.
Trail mix is one of the quickest snacks to put together and have on hand.
Trail mix is great for gift giving, too. I have given it as an office staff Christmas gift before.

Equal Parts:
- Dried Cranberries
- Raw Almonds
- Raw Cashews
- Dark Chocolate Chips
- optional pumpkin seeds
