We were having friends over who are starting to get interested in smoothies, and I made them a smoothie where I hid the taste of spinach, celery and cucumber. I LOVE getting those vegetables in our bodies without us always tasting them all the time to help bring variety to our pallets. Here is a light green smoothie, with a sweet taste. Love it!
The Ingredients:
- 1 cup ice
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup of almond milk
- 2 oranges
- 2 apples
- 2 bananas
- 1 kiwi
- 1/2 mango
- handful of spinach
- 1/3 cucumber
- 1/3 celery
- 1 T flaxseed oil, optional
The Directions:
- Blend all ingredients until thoroughly blended.
- Serve immediately.
The Verdict:
The kids asked for more. ’nuff said!
