Friday’s workout was pretty simple:
10 rounds:
5 weighted lunges – Left
5 weighted lunges – Right
The weight was a kettlebell held overhead, locked out, using my left hand on the left lunges and right hand when right. Going overhead with the weight adds the challenge of keeping the torso vertical; great core workout to go along with the benefit for the quads and glutes.
Don’t misjudge this workout. Use a heavy enough weight and it’s challenging. But be sure to keep your shoulder down, packed in so you don’t strain it. Rest only as needed.
