Upcycled and Repurposed Backpack Pocket to a Small Bag

Take a look around your home. Are there things that you need to trash? Are there things you can give to others who may have a greater need? Are there things you could sell at a garage sale or give to the Goodwill? If you aren’t using it now and don’t have a foreseeable future for the item, MAY BE they shouldn’t take up more dwelling space. Also the more “stuff” you have, the more stressful life can be with more to manage. I know when my kids have toys strewn all around I can feel a bit edgey. Are there items around your home you deem garbage that you could be given new life?
My friend, who knew I was making homemade snack bags, gave me a worn out backpack so I could use the material for future snack bags. While I was cutting into it the thought came to me that I could take the front part off and turn it into a small bag or larger snack bag. The zipper it had substituted for the velcro I usually use. It was fun, quick, and easy to morph this backpack pocket into a larger snack bag or as a multipurpose bag.
