Today the ladies and I revisited a simple workout that we first enjoyed on November 22. It is actually demanding on the glutes, the hamstrings and, of all things, the grip. It only involves a fairly heavy kettlebell and a lot of swinging. Read on for the workout. Workout:
15-minute countdown: 15 kettlebell swings.
That means every minute, on the minute, for fifteen minutes, you do 15 kettlebell swings. It’s important to maintain your focus, or you can compromise form once you get tired. I used a 70# kettlebell, and as my grip failed, it was hard to pay attention to all the other key points: straight back, not letting the bell swing too low, etc. Really good skill practice and, as I enjoy, a nice alternative on variety day.
