On Wednesday, I really took it to my deltoids. It felt great, but I was pretty tired by the end.
Workout:
5 Clean and Press ladders, up to three “rungs.”
8 minutes of Turkish Get-ups.
These are not the clean and press numbers I was putting up in January…on purpose. I have never tried to chase C&P’s with get-ups; if I’d exhausted myself on the C&P’s, I’d drop the bell (not “ball”) on the TGU’s. So I didn’t work to failure, and I wasn’t sore the next day, but I don’t think I had too much left in the tank as far as my shoulders go. I did have more energy to give, but that’s alright. Anytime I get to do TGU’s I’m happy. I love love love the get-ups.
