Crock-pot Cranberry Spiced Cider

Ingredients

  • 8 cups 64 ounces 100% cranberry juice
  • 6 cups 48 ounces apple cider or apple juice
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tsp whole cloves
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries optional
  • cheesecloth and string

Instructions

  1. Pour cranberry juice and apple cider/juice into crock-pot, making sure it's not more than ¾ full.
  2. Place lemon slices in the crock-pot.
  3. Place cinnamon sticks and whole cloves in cheesecloth.
  4. Tie cheesecloth with string, and place into crock-pot.
  5. Add fresh cranberries if desired.
  6. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours.
  7. Reduce setting to low, and serve at your leisure.
