Having a banana with nut butter, nuts and chocolate chips is my favorite way to eat a banana! And it comes together so quickly too, great for all those hungry ones out there who need a snack pronto.
Sometimes I grow tired of eating certain foods the same way all the time. Sometimes lack of excitement calls us to liven things up a bit. I used to eat a plain banana a day, but recently they just aren’t so appealing. My husband has been eating bananas with natural peanut butter for a few years now. He likes almond butter with the banana even better. Well, I added one more thing to the nut butter…dark chocolate chips. I love the crunch of the chips with the banana, and the natural peanut butter is an excellent source of protein and healthy fats, leaving the hungry, satisfied. Try it if you haven’t, and let me know what you think.

Hi Dawn! When our Fred Meyer Grocery Store’s Simple Truth Dark or semi-sweet organic chocolate chips go on sale, I stock up. But I also get the big bag of Kirkland Brand of chocolate chips from Costco. Hope that helps! Blessings!
