Crock-pot Barbecue Chicken (Drumsticks)

Ingredients

  • chicken any type (free-range organic is preferable)
  • barbecue sauce as needed learn how to make your own here without high fructose corn syrup

Instructions

  1. Place a thin layer of barbecue sauce on the bottom of the crock-pot.
  2. Place chicken in the bottom of the crock-pot.
  3. Spoon on as much barbecue sauce as desired in between the skin and the meat.
  4. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours, or on low for 5-6 hours (longer for a whole chicken, on low for approximately 8 hours).
