Costco Grocery Price List Update
Costco Grocery Price List Update: A few weeks ago I updated my Costco Natural and Organic Grocery Price List. The Grocery Price List has about 150 prices for natural and organic foods at Costco. Unless, I’m updating my grocery price list, I don’t just meander through Costco. I’m a woman on a mission. I know what I need for the fam, I get it and leave before being beguiled into aisle after aisle of alluring products and delicious food items. Notwithstanding through my meandering, I stumbled upon some new items. I didn’t add these items to my big list, since I’m really not sure that they are here to stay. Always hard to say with Costco.
The subsequent items are new foods I have predominately just discovered at the Marysville, WA Costco. Your local Costco may or may not have these. If they don’t have them and you want them, you now know they are “in the system, ” so request them. Costco does listen. The following pictures were taken with my cell phone, so I didn’t always get a clear pic.
I love serving steel cut oats in the crock-pot. I don’t know how long Costco has had Bob’s Red Mill Steel Cut Oats, but this is the first time I’ve seen ORGANIC steel cut oats in a bag in Marysville, WA. But then again, I just might not have looked hard enough. So for $1.12/lb., you too, can have organic steel cut oats!
Blended nut butter, sounds intriguing. Nuttzo, at $14.99, has a nuttzo price…
We love the Hersey’s Simple Chocolate Syrup. We’ve had this item around at least a year, because I have used it in my Dairy-free Ice Cream Cake. No dairy and just 5 ingredients! Cane sugar, organic invert cane syrup (a sweet mixture of glucose and fructose), water, cocoa and natural vanilla flavor. I don’t know what “natural” vanilla flavor really means though…but since we use it sparingly, I’m not too concerned.
I have only sampled the organic riced cauliflower, but you know it’s the new thing. $2.66/lb.
I dig dates. I usually get ours at Winco though, but they aren’t organic there. $5/lb. here.
I love to roast and sauté brussels sprouts, but I’ve never used frozen ones. Does anyone know if the texture is the same? The price looks phenomenal though. $2.25/lb. for organic brussels sprouts!
I was all over Doritos in the 80s and 90s. I’ve moved on to plain nacho chips. So if you dig Doritos, you can get Kirkland Organic Nacho Cheese Chips for a little occasional indulgence.
Have you seen any interesting or good food finds at your local Costco?

Thanks for the update! We find the frozen brussel sprouts okay if you roast them or sauce with other veggies. We grew some and had them for the first time Saturday night. OMGosh they were so mild, we had them with homegrown leeks and broccoli and a bit of homemade bacon. Yes my husband makes bacon out of pork bellies that are not carried at our Costco, but from the one in Redding 3 hours away that is on the way to Reno where our daughters live. So we stop at Redding almost every time we go to Reno!

Hi Cheryl. You are welcome, and THANKS for sharing about the frozen Brussels sprouts! My gut was saying that they’d be okay. I’ll try to not be jealous about your homegrown sprouts…and broccoli…and leeks. A few years ago we grew some sprouts, poorly, I have to add. They were teeny-tiny. And homemade bacon? I’m impressed! Thank you so much for sharing!

We just discovered organic Cowboy Caviar at our Costco store. It was very good. I looked for a recipe, just in case, and apparently I don’t get out much, because there are dozens of recipes for it online. We made our own version, but I liked Costco’s better! I need to do some tweaking.

Hi Kathy. Isn’t it great that now-a-days you can pretty much find any recipe on the Internet? Sometimes the store bought is better! Thanks for sharing!
