Re-purposed Monogram Gift Tags
Here is a really quick idea that is also a free way to tag gifts, monogram gift tags. You don’t need any expensive machine, fancy equipment or money. You just need scissors and some recycled papers of some sort.
Today my Ellie girl and I were drinking in the season and wrapping Christmas gifts. I was cutting some tags out of old Christmas cards as Martha Stewart suggests here. As I was cutting away, I noticed that some of the cards used big font and thought that I could also cut out some of the letters and put those on the presents as monogram gift tags, so here are a few pics of those.
Not only can you use old Christmas Cards, you can use magazines, newspapers, ads, etc…just cut out the letters and tape ’em on down. And you can make them even more impressive by glueing them to some card stock.
Fast, free, and easy. Oh, the silly little things that can make us excited…**Updated 12/14.
