What We’ve Been Doing, Bad and Better Pictures, and Updated Posts

You may not have seen many posts lately, yet, I have been doing a ton of blog work.  Also, Jonathan was at our church youth retreat last week leading music with his guitar and gave a message, and I am at a jazz camp most of this week.  We had a garage sale before that and have been purging our house, so our schedule just hasn’t been very consistent.

I have lots of posts in the hopper, but you see we got a new camera at the end of June, and I have been having fun taking pictures and updating old posts. I have been learning how to take a picture and make it better.  It’s amazing how much a good picture will liven up a post.

We’ve also been making changes to the blog to make it cleaner looking and more efficient.  We updated the side bar and our “About Us” page, adding a big list fun facts about us.  There’s much more that we want to do, but we can only do one thing at a time.

In case you didn’t see them the first time I posted or if you want to see some new pictures, here are some of the posts that I have updated (just click on the picture to take you to the post).  There are over twenty new updated posts!

These first few pictures were updated in June, but they were still taken with my iphone 3.  Crazy!

Then we got a Canon Rebel, and I am so happy with the picture quality overall.  I still have lots to learn about food photography and photography in general, but the journey has been fun.  Vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie

  1. Those pictures look so good! Good job! And the sidebar looks good too. Taking pictures and editing them in very time consuming, fun, but time consuming. Keep enjoying the new camera. We have had ours for over a year and I still feel like I am just getting started! They are BEASTS! 🙂
